Jerking only happens when the AC is on, anyone else experienced this?
Bit of a weird one that I can’t get my head around. My Sunny drives fine in the mornings but once the AC is running and I’m in traffic, it starts jerking slightly when I accelerate from a stop. It’s not every time, which makes it harder to pin down, and of course when I took it to a garage it behaved perfectly and they found nothing. I’ve been reading up on the causes of a car jerking under acceleration explained in various places and nobody seems to mention the AC being a factor, which makes me wonder if I’m imagining it or if it’s pointing to something specific like the compressor putting load on a struggling engine. Has anyone dealt with something similar where the symptoms only show up under certain conditions? I don’t want to keep paying for diagnostics that come back clean, but I also don’t want to ignore something that might get worse once summer really kicks in and the AC is on constantly.
