My Audi A5 has started to slip a little when I speed up. The engine sound goes up, but the car takes a second to catch up. I was looking on my phone late at night and found a page about Audi gearbox repair in Sharjah. It was easy to read and it talked about oil, clutch wear and sensors. At the bottom there was a big button that said Click here for Audi gearbox service, and I stopped. A few years ago I filled a form on a random website for another car problem, and after that I got calls and messages for weeks. So now I do not press anything fast. I closed the page and came here to ask people instead. How do you check if a workshop is real before you contact them? Is a phone number and an address enough, or should I look for reviews somewhere else too? Is it better to call first instead of filling a form? And what should I ask on the first call so I do not sound lost? Also, is it normal for a place to give a price on the phone without seeing the car? A friend told me a good workshop will scan the car in front of you and show you the codes on the screen. Is that true? My car has about 134,000 kilometers, and I do not remember when the gearbox oil was changed last. I use it to go to work every day, so I cannot leave it for many days. If you found a good gearbox place online, please tell me how you checked them first. If it went badly, I would like to hear that too, so I know what to watch for. Thank you for reading.
