I finally got my Range Rover Sport done last month, and I wanted to share how it went because before I booked I could only find shop ads, not real stories. The car is two years old and the front was already covered in tiny chips from the highway. I live near MBZ City, so I searched for a Premium PPF workshop near MBZ City, and honestly every page sounded the same. In the end I visited three places in person instead of trusting the websites. The first one would not let me see the work area. The second one had a dusty room with the doors open, which scared me a bit. The third one had a closed, clean bay with the lights on, and the owner showed me a car he had finished the week before. He let me run my hand along the edges and pointed out where the film wraps around the corners. That is the one I picked. I covered the bonnet, bumper, mirrors, door edges and the front of the roof, not the whole car, mainly to keep the price sensible. The job took two days. When I collected the car, I looked at it under strong light and found one tiny dust spot near the headlight. They fixed it that same afternoon without arguing, which gave me a lot of trust in them. They also told me not to wash the car for a week and to avoid brush car washes after that. Now for the honest part. The price was higher than I first planned, and the first few days the film looked a little hazy in the sun, which worried me until they explained it was just the moisture drying out. It cleared up by day five. I also learned that you should ask about the warranty in writing. So here are my questions for people who have had film for longer than me. How does yours look after two or three summers here? Did you ever need to go back for lifted edges? Is it worth adding a ceramic coating on top, or is that just an extra sale? And how do you clean bird droppings and bug marks without damaging the film?
